The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

The 2025 Tattoo runs from the 1 to 23 August, with a discounted preview night on 31 July. This year’s theme, The Heroes Who Made Us, marks the event’s 75th anniversary with a mix of retrospective highlights and new commissions. Over 800 performers take part, including Top Secret Drum Corps, the Band of the Polish Border Guard, and the Ukraine Naval Forces Orchestra. Evening shows begin at 9.30pm, with earlier Saturday performances at 6.15pm. Tickets start at £22, rising to £226 for premier seating.
